Credits needed to graduate:
21.0 (for Classes 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08)
22.5 (for Class of 2008-09 and all classes thereafter)
Graduation Requirements:
English - 4.0 units
Oral Communications - .5 unit (one-half unit)
Social Studies - 3.0 units
One (1) unit of World History
One (1) unit of American History
One (1) unit of Civics or Civics/American Government
Mathematics - 3.0 units
One (1) unit of Algebra or its equivalent
One (1) unit of Geometry or its equivalent. (A two-year algebra equivalent or a two-year geometry equivalent may be counted as two units of the three-unit requirement. All math units must build on the base of algebra and geometry knowledge and skills.)
Class of 2009 and all classes thereafter will be required to have 4 units of mathematics.
Science - 3.0 units
At least one (1) unit of physical science
One (1) unit of biology or its equivalent
One other science (Chemistry, Environmental Science)
Physical Education - .5 unit (one-half)
Health and Safety - .5 unit (one-half)
Fine Arts - .5 unit (one-half)
Vocal music, instrumental music, art, or survey of fine arts
Career Focus Electives - 6.0 units
