Dyslexia Intervention Program
During the 2021-2022 school year, Lonoke Public School District used the following evidenced-based Dyslexia Intervention Programs in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia:
- Grades K-4 Phonics First
- Grades 5-12 Phonics Structures
- Rite Flight (fluency and comprehension)
- Kilpatrick 1 minute Drills 3-12 (Phonemic Awareness)
- Heggerty K-2 (Phonemic Awareness)
Number of Students Who Received Dyslexia Intervention
During the 2021-2022 school year, 77 students attending Lonoke Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.
Total Number of Students Identified as Exhibiting the Characteristics of Dyslexia
By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, 80 students attending Lonoke Public School District have been identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
