TITLE IX, SEXUAL HARASSMENT
-
The Lonoke School District is committed to providing an academic environment that treats all students with respect and dignity. Student achievement is best attained in an atmosphere of equal educational opportunity that is free of discrimination. Sexual harassment is a form of discrimination that undermines the integrity of the educational environment and will not be tolerated.
The District has adopted a sexual harassment policy that defines sexual harassment, outlines the steps for filing a complaint, outlines the procedures for investigation, and provides information about the resolution process.
Any person may make a complaint of sexual harassment to any district staff member at any time. All formal complaints will be addressed by the LPSD Title IX Coordinator, Melissa Edwards.
