Announcements

  • All Lonoke High School students that have NOT received all required immunizations need to do so AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

NURSE PAIGE HAS BEGUN CALLING THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE STILL MISSING IMMUNIZATIONS AT THIS TIME.  AFTER OCTOBER 1ST ANY STUDENTS THAT REMAIN NON-COMPLIANT MAY BE DISMISSED FROM SCHOOL AND EACH DAY MISSED THEREAFTER WILL BE AN UNEXCUSED ABSENCE.

After initial immunizations required upon entering Kindergarten, there are also immunizations required at ages 11 and 16 as well.  At age 11, a TDap immunization and the 1st set of the Meningitis Vaccination series are due, and at age 16 the 2nd set of the Meningitis Vaccination series is due.  If your student is still not up to date on all required immunizations you will need to call your Primary Care Provider or the Health Department and make an appointment to do so, followed by a call to Nurse Paige to let her know that an appointment has been made along with the date of that appointment so that she can place you on the compliance list.  In the event that a student is missing immunizations and the student does not have insurance at the time, you can visit the Health Department and be seen for just $5.00, but you must call ahead and make an appointment, as they are no longer accepting walk-ins at any Health Department location.

We appreciate your attention to this matter.

    Thank you,

    The LHS Team
