Offer Versus Serve

Students are offered 5 component on their tray: Meat/Meat Alternate, Vegetable, Fruit, Grain/Bread, and Milk. To have a complete tray with offer vs serve the student must have at least 1/2 cup fruit or vegetable along with 2 other food components as listed above.
