MEET THE TEACHER I will tell you a little about myself. I am a graduate from Lonoke High School. I have taught 5th Grade Literacy at Lonoke Elementary for over the last decade, and I have recently taken on a new position as the Lonoke High School SPED Teacher. I am super excited about this new journey. I graduated from Arkansas State University in 2004 with my Bachelors, and I received my Masters in Elementary Education Degree in 2007. In December of 2014 I received my Masters in Special Education. This summer I received my Specialist in Administration Degree at Arkansas State University. It has been a blessing to be teaching in my home town. I have 2 little girls, Maggie who will be 3 in October, a new little girl, Hattie who made her arrival in April, 2016, and a step son, James who is almost 10 years old. James lives in Houston, TX with his mother, but we see him twice a month. My children are my pride and joy. They keep us busy night and day.
Each month I will do my best to post a new calendar with a tentative list of assignments or test that will be given. If there is ever any news or information that needs to be shared, I will post it to my web page so you will be aware of all that is going on at Lonoke High School.
This is a new journey for me in the High School setting, and I am so excited to have joined the team here at Lonoke High School. I am looking forward to teaching your students and your students teaching me as well. I will be teaching Math and Literacy. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at anytime at stephanie.hackney@lonokeschools.org. You can call 501-676-2476 to arrange a meeting with me if you need to. Looking forward to a GREAT year!!!! LHS ROCKS!!!!! |
