Sometimes parents wonder what teachers actually do in the classroom and why they do what they do. To attempt to answer those questions, I have added some links below to pedagogical websites that I borrow heavily from, whether idealogically or just materially.
- I am a trainer for MAX teaching, trained by Dr. Forget himself, so I structure much of the learning in my classroom with MAX reading/learning strategies. Here's the link: http://www.maxteaching.com/
- One goal of teachers is to facilitate learning in ALL students. Differentiating instruction is one way to accomplish that goal. I had the privilege of attending a workshop this summer on differentiating instruction with an expert, Dr. Carolyn Coil. Here is one link I use: http://fayette.k12.in.us/cmslmc/teachers/teachersmain.htm

There are many more websites I use, but these are the basics.
