LHS Band Director:The basis of music education in the Lonoke School District is the initiation and expression of artistic emotions in a musical fashion and to establish a sense of appreciation for the musical arts. From forming a general understanding of musical skills to the understanding of performance etiquette, music education is essential to the public school curriculum.
In reality, musical knowledge is only a fragment of the skills developed by participation in the instrumental music program. Dedication, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and respect are among the most vital derivatives instrumental music provides.
