Dyslexia Intervention Program
During the 2023-2024 school year, Lonoke Public School District used the following evidenced-based Dyslexia Intervention Programs in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia:
- Grades K-12 Take Flight
These programs focus on phonics skills and Greek and Latin roots. The instructional approach utilized is beneficial to students who display characteristics of dyslexia.
Number of Students Who Received Dyslexia Intervention
During the 2023-2024 school year, 68 students attending Lonoke Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.
Total Number of Students Identified as Exhibiting the Characteristics of Dyslexia
By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, 73 students attending Lonoke Public School District have been identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
