Best & Cummings Chosen for Arkansas All State Band

LHS Band students Mary Best and Bryce Cummings have been selected to participate in the 2022-2023 Arkansas All State Band.

These students will travel to Hot Springs and rehearse from February 15-18, 2023 with other students from around the state. This is the first time that two participants from Lonoke were selected in the same year.

Band Director Patrick Matarazzo says, "This is an example of what hard work and dedication allows to happen in the lives of these two special musicians with the persistence and the goals they have set for themselves. They continue to represent the Lonoke High School Instrumental Department and the Lonoke School District and our local community well with their efforts."
